// recursive elliott-wave scanner

Not investment advice. Elliott Wave labeling is inherently subjective and prone to hindsight-fitting. Tidewatch outputs confidence-scored hypotheses about wave structure, not predictions — every flag is a starting point for your own analysis, never a trade instruction.

No key needed. Generates wave structures locally.

Keys are sent only to the chosen provider. If you tick “remember”, the key is saved in this browser only (lightly obfuscated, not encrypted) and auto-fills when you pick that source — leave it unticked on shared computers.

Comma- or space-separated tickers.

6.0%

Minimum % swing that counts as a turning point. Higher = only large moves register → coarser, primary-degree waves and fewer flags. Lower = small wiggles count → finer-degree waves, more (noisier) flags.

2

How many times each labeled wave is re-scanned for its own internal 5-wave structure — the fractal premise of Elliott Wave. 0 = main waves only; higher = more nested sub-waves (shown in violet), at more compute.

“Approaching” = 1–4 done, 5th wave pending and likely.

Filters by wave-5 end (complete) or wave-4 end (approaching).

Pulls deeper history when set.

Which wave-position calls to surface.

Confidence tier of the hypothesis.

Keys stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere except the data provider. Free-tier limits and endpoints change — verify against each provider's current docs.

Verified against provider docs, June 2026. For the Discover screener, Twelve Data (800/day) is the practical free choice; FMP (250/day) also works. Alpha Vantage's 25/day is fine for a short watchlist only.
